Hi, I’m Michelle Boylan,

your Liberal Member of the Legislative Council in the Parliament of Western Australia. In the current parliament I serve on the Joint Standing Committee on the Corruption and Crime Commission.

I didn’t come into politics for the title – I came here to work. I’ve worn a police uniform, worked in kitchens, raised a family, and supported women and families in crisis. All those experiences shape how I serve: grounded in real life, focused on people, and driven by common sense.

I believe politics should be practical, not performative. My goal is simple: to be a voice for everyday people – the kind who rarely seek attention but deserve representation. I’m here to listen, to advocate, and to help fix what’s not working.

“I didn’t come here for status. I came here to work.”

🧡 No more.

On Sunday, I marched with @libby.mettam and so many Western Australians at the No More: National Rally Against Violence.

Because everyone deserves to feel safe, everywhere.
Thank you for having me @aicdirectors for a fabulous briefing on the Non-for-Profit governance and performance study.

Learning about the 2025-26 study, rising governance demand and regulatory pressures in the non-for-profit sector.
At some point, enough has to be enough.

The Premier has the power to drop the appeal. Roger Cook let him move on.

Wishing all of you a very happy Easter Sunday 🤍
👋 It was great to catch up with Andre and Tyrell from the @shireofdardanup yesterday.

We had an honest conversation about what people are dealing with right now.

We talked water security, waste management, and the rising cost of fuel because in regional communities, these aren’t abstract issues. They hit households, farmers and small businesses every single day.

This is exactly why I came into politics to listen, to understand what’s actually happening on the ground, and to push for real solutions where they’re needed most.

If you are facing any of these issues or want a listening ear, please comment below or DM me … I would love to learn more about our community and the people who live in it. 💬

🤷‍♀️How did this happen?

What went wrong with supply?
Where were the contingency plans?

Fuel runs dry across WA
and once again, Western Australians are left to deal with the consequences.

THIS GOVERNMENT HAS THE WRONG PRIORITIES. ⛽️

💔 A recent Ombudsman report raises serious concerns about how high-risk family and domestic violence cases are being handled in WA.

Too many victim-survivors are being left without proper protection and at risk of further harm.

WA women and children deserve better.

🗓️ What a month!

From Harvey to Dawesville and across Perth, I’ve been out listening, learning and standing up for our community especially women, families and children.

Looking forward to what’s ahead and continuing the conversation around our great state! 🩵
🚸 A child was failed in State care. The court said so.

$2.85 million awarded.

Now the Government is appealing and survivor Dion Barber says they still refuse to take responsibility.

📍 In Sydney last week at the Asia Pacific Coercive Control and Children Conference.

Listening, learning and bringing WA’s voice into the conversation.

The focus must be on accountability, stronger systems, and better outcomes for women and children.

More to do and I’ll keep pushing for it 🩵
